Throughout the life span of the project, BCRC has retained a focus on issues relevant to interface communities across Belfast. Not least, regeneration and community development have been recurring themes of our work and has resulted in both a variety of events as well as the commissioning of a number of pieces of research. Please check our website for information on future events.
We have organised a range of events since the project was first established in April 2007 related to issues such as Planning Reform and Future Planning Developments in North Belfast, Community Tourism and Shared Space. In addition, the project has commissioned research as well as issued position papers and policy responses related to themes such as Shared Space, Community Safety, Reform of the Planning System and the Regeneration & Development of Interface Areas. A selection of BCRC’s research, policy responses and position papers can be found under the section ‘Publications’.
